Well what can you say, I've not had any time to write in my blog, mainly cos Facebook is taking up too much of my time!! It is good in some ways as I've come in contact with students I taught many years ago and they write to me often and tell me what they have been up to and what they are doing now. The have all been through some form of higher education and are now starting the long haul of working!! I also find that the current students are using it a lot so instead of spending time writing my blog I tend to play on Facebook and most poeple I know are doing the same thing. There seem to be lots of silly things to fill in but hey I'm up for it so just go along with the flow, sometimes I just close my eyes and tick anything instead of reading the questions to see what happens, often they turn out the same so they are all rubbish!! Today it is off line so I'm filling in my blog!
I'm trying to find some people for a camera course as one of the teachers at school where I worked is fantastic with cameras as he used to do that job for the BBC. If I can get 10 people who would like to learn all about their digital cameras, then he is willing to give up a day of his time to teach us all about taking photgraphs and the light. We will pay him £25 each so he will have £250 for the day but it would be well worth it.
The grandchildren are a delight and I love having them around. Went down to spend the morning with Hope & Morgan and it was great fun. We don't see as much of them as we used to do but we do see them every week. I'd like Hope to come for the morning to play and maybe when she is a little older she will.
We have Zachary for a sleepover every Saturday night to give Tonya the chance to get out as it is hard being a single mum. She also comes and helps out in the office 2 days a week answering the phones for
us while our recptionist is off sick (she has cancer) and I'm not sure when she will be back so we take it in turns to help out while she is away. It also give me chance to look after Zachary and teach him all the things I taught Tonya & James. Today we have been making Valentine's cards for mummy and Grandpa. Mind you he did glue the table, eat the tissue, screw the hearts up, and scribble all over the card and table but it is good fun. Then we did jigsaws, then I chased him around the room and he thought that was good fun till he ran out of puff, mind you it was nearly his nap time, he loves his bed and yesterday asked to go to bed around 12:30pm and slept till 5pm when we got back from a web meeting. Today he has gone down about 1:35 and will also sleep until 5 as then I will go in and wake him up. He made me a lovely card and his mum bought me a big toblerone with a picture of a rose on it.
Today I've been filling in forms and sorting out things for the office so have been on the computer all afternoon doing one thing or another so will go and watch TV for a bit and make myself a fresh drink.
